Welcome to my blog. We are a homeschool family of 6. My DH is a chef. I am a stay-at-home, homeschool mom to four gifts from God. Our oldest is 14. He has a desire to be a rescue or missionary pilot. He has wanted to "fly" since he was around 8 years old. Our only daughter turns seven next month. She enjoys taking violin lessons and wants to raise sheep. Our 4yo is a bundle of energy, and wakes up ready to go full throttle all day. I wish I had just half his energy. His determined nature leaves me hopeful that he will accomplish whatever he sets out to do in life. Our 2yo has a wonderful smile and likes to give hugs and kisses. He is learning all kinds of things at an incredible pace.
I chose this title -- which is no easy task, since just about everything you can think of it taken! -- because it reminds me that we are all projects in The Master Carpenter's hands. I hope you will see through my posts that I definitely don't claim to have it all together or have it all figured out. I will right up front confess to struggling in several areas -- in my eating habits, in my lack of exercise habits/discipline, and in being patient and controlling my temper, among others. But the wonderful thing about Jesus is that He loves me just as I am, and also loves me too much to leave me this way. So, He is always working to sand the rough edges and remove the flaws.
In Christ Alone,
Barb
